Title: The Impact of Technology on Inbound Sales, where will technology bring it in the next 5 years?
Synopsis: Rewind to 2005, Brian Halligan, now CEO of Hubspot, a once small company named Hubspot coined a term 'inbound marketing'. A lot of what is done annually at congregation can fall under the term, Inbound Marketing. As described on Hubspot - Inbound marketing is about using marketing to bring potential customers to you, rather than having your marketing efforts fight for their attention.
For my topic at Congregation 2016, I will look at the emerging term 'Inbound Sales', a term that derived from 'Inbound Marketing' however, a term that creates more than a quality lead.
Inbound Sales is the process of focusing on individual buyers and their personal needs, points of pain, frustrations and goals. As an Inbound salesperson, it is essential that you prioritize the buyer's needs before your own. I will look into the practice at a deeper level, to find out is it another fadm is it a pratice we have been using for years and until recently there was no official term. I will also be looking into the companies who do it best.
